Privacy at a glance

The short version

Local by design

Your settings, progress, scores, achievements, and song library stay on your headset.

No ads or analytics

Guitar Reality does not use developer-operated analytics, cloud crash reporting, or advertising.

You control deletion

Clear the app's data or uninstall it to remove locally stored app information.

This Privacy Policy describes how AmiigosVR handles information in connection with Guitar Reality.

01

Information stored by the app

Guitar Reality stores gameplay information locally on your headset. This may include game settings, controller and calibration preferences, progress, achievements, high scores, and song-library metadata. This information is used to preserve your preferences, display your progress, and operate game features.

If you add compatible Clone Hero or YARG songs, Guitar Reality accesses those files only to scan, display, and play them. Imported songs and generated audio or library caches remain on your device and are not uploaded to AmiigosVR.

Controller, motion, and hand-tracking input is processed on the device to run the game. AmiigosVR does not receive or store this input as a biometric profile.

02

Meta Platform services

Guitar Reality connects to Meta Platform services when it starts to confirm that the current user is entitled to use the app. Guitar Reality receives the outcome of this entitlement check, but AmiigosVR does not store your Meta account ID or profile information. Meta processes information used by its services under Meta's own privacy policies.

03

Analytics, advertising, and sharing

Guitar Reality does not use developer-operated analytics or cloud crash-reporting services, does not contain advertising, and does not sell personal information. AmiigosVR does not receive your locally stored gameplay information or custom songs.

04

Support communications

If you contact AmiigosVR by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and any diagnostic information you attach. We use it only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, protect our rights, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell support information.

05

Data retention and deletion

Locally stored app information remains on your headset until you delete it. You can remove the app's private data by clearing Guitar Reality's app data through your headset's storage settings or by uninstalling the app. Custom song files stored outside the app's private storage may need to be deleted separately by you.

To request deletion of information you provided through a support communication, email amiigosvr@gmail.com. Please identify the correspondence you want deleted. We will delete it unless retention is required for security, legal, or regulatory reasons.

06

Children's privacy

Guitar Reality is not directed to children under 13. AmiigosVR does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it.

07

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Guitar Reality's features or data practices change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the effective date.
